Installing gaskets between Carb Spacer Intake Manifold

RTV would be OK to use, just make sure it is impervious to gasoline. Make sure all surfaces are REALLY clean, and use just a film of RTV.
I'm sure there is a torque spec for the bolts, just don't know it. Tighten them with a small wrench or drive socket so you don't overtighten/break them.
Don't use a 1/2" drive.
If blue loctite will give you piece of mind, use it. I would.
Just don'y use RED loctite unless you are fond of never being able to remove it in the future.

Yeah, you shouldn't need anything. Just be sure the surfaces are clean and flat and you'll be fine. I generally hit mine with some 400-ish grit sandpaper on a sanding block. Helps to have someone with a shop vac running to suck up any dust, although a small amount of dust that fine isn't going to wreck the engine. Just me being paranoid.

If you've got studs and nuts, be sure there is some type of mechanical lock - either a new split washer, a serrated flange nut, or a nylock-style nut. I like the nylocks, but YMMV. Point it to keep the fastener from rattling loose over time. I *think* the spec 10 or 12 lb ft - that is typical for a carb. The six might be a little lower, but it's in that range. *Definitely* no higher than 12.
