Sitting here drugged out due to a back injury, I'm reading various forums here and have come across a couple of threads that mention the air/fuel ratio problems of vastly differing intake runner lengths. Cylinders 1&6 being so far from the carb with 3&4 being right there.
So, how about a tubular intake fashioned after equal length exhaust headers? (yes, these are GOOD drugs)
Arc the intake tubes over the valve cover and mount the carb on the left side of the engine. Seems there should be a ram effect from the long tubes. While looking rather wild, it would allow for equal length intake runners.
Or, should I stop thinking about engines while in this state and just pass the time communing with the universe?
