is it worth fixing (69 250 head)

it has a crack, worn valve guides, and is in need of new valve seats, i also wanted to do the 2b conversion, anyone know about how much it would take to fix it
 
i wouldn't fix a cracked head. i would get another one. if you can. if you can't then i would look into getting it welded up.
 
Save your money on fixing the 69 head and find a later one with something like D7 or E0 casting numbers. The later heads would have larger intake log volumes and already have valve seats for unleaded fuel. They would be better suited for the 2Bbl direct mounting.

Just my opinion.
 
Ya, I pulled a head at the local yard - $35.
And that's with everything that was attached as well, manifold, carb....
