Isky 262 cam

I thought about it but got cheap and ended up using the best looking stock one I had. I couldnt find anyone that had bought anything from Isky in recent years. Back a few years they had a very good rep.

It depends on what you want to achieve.

You might compare it to the Comp 65-236-4 which has 212/212 duration and 1000/5000 rpm range. I have the equivalent (66-237-4) in my 300 and it pulls hard from off idle to 4000 rpm (it was still pulling good but I chickened-out at 4k) with a very smooth idle even down to 500 rpm.

Of course,there are these: http://www.classicinlines.com/cam_compare.asp

i got a super cam kit and wanted too know if any used this cam , how did they liked it.

just bought an Isky Mile-a-Mor. You can pick up a cam and lifter set directly from their on-line site for $144 and $55 respectively. They are one of the better bargains out there. Plus they must have had it on their shelf as it showed up a week later.

Isky cams in general are not my choice for best performance.

Look at the duration @ .050 & the lift & advertised duration compared to Clay smith cams @ www.classicinclines.com
Mikes cams by clay smith are modern profiles which have more lift & duration @ .050 compared to the advertised duration.

Isky cams are a copycat manufacturer even going back to the beginning of custom ground cams in the late 1940's.

The isky 262 cam is just a little more than a stock cam.
