I'm ditching the CLC valve springs I have for stock 302 intake springs because nobody in my area has the cutter for the PC seals the springs need. now I need retainers because my CLC retainers do not fit, and niether do the stockers. so just to make shure I have this right, the retainers for a '90-'98 Ford 4.0 V6 will work with the 302 springs right?

I can't answer you about compatibility with the 302 springs, but the 4.0 one piece retainers work with the stock 200/250 springs.

I may have a set of the 302 springs in the garage. If I do I'll check them for fit and get back to you.

Sorry, All I could find is some 302 exhaust springs. I'm not going to be able to help you.

The 4.0 retainers were a little loose in the 302 exhaust springs, but I know the intake springs are slightly different. Sorry!!

OK guys, problem Solved, finally. using stock 302 2 peice retainers, except instead of using the 11/32" center section of the 302 retainer, use the 5/16" center section of the stock 200 Ford 6 retainer, it fits like it was meant for it.
