Hey guys another question on my 82 ? Behind the stereo is a metal square( thing ??) that is pouring ice cold water onto my feet when I am driving. I know that it is coming from the ac but is a line plugged up or what ?? And if it is any suggestions where to look ??

It's probably condensation from the A/C evaporator, collecting inside the vent box and dribbling out, especially during right turns. Mine does it, too.

The best fix involves drilling a small hole in the bottom of the box and installing a nipple, maybe 1/4" size, to connect to a piece of small vacuum hose that can be drained somewhere else. You can drill a small hole thru the floor (maybe the transmission hump) and push the hose down thru that to the outside.

My '79 did the same thing. It's a real surprise on those right-hand corners, isn't it?

Yeah !!!, it really is !! but it isnt a dribble it is like a wave of water coming out . I will try that drain hose. thanks
