looking for centercap info..

well I picked up some 2001 mustang wheels but they have these mustang centercaps.....

do you guys have a 2.25" center cap on the newer ford wheels? I would love to get a set of the FPV caps for my car.

the hole the cap sits in is 2.25" with the top of the cap being about 2.5" they push in from the front side.

I think it's a Tickford cap logo we get here. Should fit if the wheels are ROH? Send Fingers a PM. He has some good Ford contacts!

You might be able to get a engraver (Like a sports trophy store) to re create the FPV logos onto your center caps.

I know of a guy here in NZ that brought some sort of kit and he can make any button or badge he wants. I've seen a couple of Falcons over here where the factory badges have been replaced with all sorts of different things. I've been told that the kit he uses is one that engravers use.

my current caps are a multi piece deal with a clear center over a running pony logo....unless I carve them and paint them they will look like poo. I can get a plain ford cap but was jus tlooking for something different

The badges that this guy makes with his kit looked factory! They looked just like the factory ford oval badge but had the FPV logo inside them instead? They were still a plastic chromed back with the FPV logo inside with a bubbled clear platsic cover cap.

Might still work? But I could be on the wrong tangent as I've never seen the wheels you are refering to.

Hey Nick, I need to throw the ball back to you on this one. Only because I'm dialup...

Go to the Ford Oz site and check out the Falcons, also the FPV site for their vehicles. See if the wheels look familiar (I think they do, at least to the 2004 Mustang range). Then we might get a definitive answer.

Cheers, Adam.

I am pretty sure they are mustang only wheels as they first came on the Bullit edition cars then became an optional GT wheel. Pretty much they look like some Torq Thrust wheels but are much cheaper. they use the same center caps as all the other SN95 wheels (cobra R's and the like) I am pretty sure this cap size is the same across the board for the small button style in the US. I can get a overlay for them but I would rather have something different on this project.
