lots of 170 to 200/C4 swap questions

I'm putting a complete '71 Maverick 200/C4/8" drivetrain in my '62 Comet. I know I would be able to figure some of these out once I start tearing into stuff, but the more I can prep ahead of time the faster and easier this swap should go.

oil pan/pump: do I need to use my 170 oil pan and pickup or will the maverick one fit my body?

pertronix: will the pertronix I bought for my 170 work in the distributor of the 200? does anyone know what the correct gap is for the unit? I lost the little plastic feeler guage.
Related question, I know the pertronix is supposed to get a full 12 volts but the stock system is less than that. Is it ok to just remove the pink resistor wire under the dash and send a full 12 volts to both the pertronix and the coil? Or does the coil still need the resistor wire?

parking brake: how do I adapt the parking brake cables for the 8" rear to my stock setup? do I use '62 comet cables or '71 maverick cables? will I have to modify whatever I use?

rear brake hose: I heard I should use a pinto hose, is this true? if so what year?

oil pressure/coolant temp: are these sensors the same such that I can just attach the stock wiring or do I need to swap them out?

starter ring gear: the one known issue with the drivetrain I'm putting in is that some teeth may be missing off the ring gear. Can I replace just the ring gear or do I need to change the entire torque converter?

any other tricks/hints/weirdness anyone can share from this sort of swap would definitely be helpful and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S. for the Maverick guys out there. the donor car for this swap is getting upgraded to a V8 & 9" rear. So no Mavericks were lost in the upgrading of my Comet. :)
