main bearings

In the PAW catalog, the Clevite 77 main bearings list a change in May, 75. Does anyone know what the change was and can I use my '81 crank in my 73 block by only changing to the later bearings. Thanks in advance. J

Up to 75 had full groove bearings and after 75 they had half groove bearings. As long as your block will accept the bearings you can run either.
