does anybody know about this distributor? or might even possibly have one laying around? i located a Edelbrock tripower manifold and the instruction sheet suggests that i use it in place of the stock one. its a model F361 1961-1967 application.
 
That was a duel point distributor with mechanical advance. You do need to change the distributor. Probably the only way you would find one is contact some of the older speed shops to see if they still have one sitting on the shelf or look for a used one. There are other better choices too like a DS I or II, Classic Inlines HEI system, both of those are electronic, or as a bare minimum you would need a 68 up point distributor. im hoping to keep it as close to the time period as i can. maybe the duraspark would be a good alternative. im thinking three autolite 1100's with the 1.1 venturi's and a 1968 or 69 distributor. :idea:
