has anyone used this oil pump and what shaft did you use the one for the 65b is to short.

That pump was for Ford 200 engines made in Argentina and has a longer snout by 5/16". I am assuming you have the larger hex drive. I will measure my hex drive rod tomorrow.

Here are the hex drive measurements:

small shaft 1/4" - length 2 7/8"

small shaft 1/4" - length 4 1/2"

large shaft 5/16" - length 5 1/8"

I found two hex drives in the scrap pile. I did read up on retail site that there were 2 different lengths for the smaller shaft. The smaller one apparently was issued earlier in production.

the large shaft 5/16" is what it needs but 5 1/8 is to short. what longer shaft do I use and who makes it?
