ok, so here they are, my unidentified motor mounts that seat the 250 so nicely in the engine bay of my 65 mustang.

(click for biggies, 56K beware)
Those thingies came with the engine, and since I don´t have any reference material, pictures or junkjards with Detroit Iron over here I don´t know where those motor mounts originally came from. The number on the driver side cast iron motor mounts reads C9ZA-6061-B and W1 above. Passenger side number is C9ZA-6037-B and W2.
The metal/ rubber insulator that sandwiches between the cast motor mounts and the (slightly bent) stamped steel motor mount brackets has some hardly visible numbers on the deteriorated rubber as well:
C9OA-6038-B and C9OZ-6038-B
Has anybody seen those mounts and/ or numbers before, and from what car did they come?
P.S.
As you can see in the first pic, thats the only reasonyble way to bolt the motor mounts on so the engine can sit properly between the shock towers. With a low porfile air cleaner, I didn´t encounter any hood clearence problems, and both the nine-bolt-topcover 3.03 and driveshaft matched up pretty well when I put everything together to see if and how well it will fit.
I may have to drill a new hole in the motor mount support for the third bolt however.
