Motor mounts revisited.

Awhile back, I posted a link to Ebay for some 250 mounts.
Coupeboy told me they were hard to find mounts and that nobody makes a replacement rubber for them.
I just finished looking at Damperdoctor to see what they offered in dampers and noticed that they offered a rebuild service for motor mounts.

I just wanted to pass this info along. Hope it helps someone out.

i'm not so sure about a sticky, we're getting a little bit crowded here
although, maybe a general manufacturer's thread though

Some of the Crosley automobile guys rebuild their own mounts.

it involves aluminum foil , card board and a tube of automotive window glass urethane.

i've seen that, i'm still not completely convinced of the reliability, or the safety of doing so

8) might work for a crosley, since they only make what 30hp? remember our engines make double that on a bad day, and are about twice the weight as well.
