Some sad news, Mike (AzCoupe) Winterboe has passed away from cancer, he is the owner of Classic Inlines who specialised in Ford sixes, had alloy 2V heads cast by CHI a few years back. He had been receiving treatment lately and a couple guys took over the ordering and questions for his website Classic Inlines. He was well liked and well respected. Last year or so, the business probably suffered due to his diagnosis, most were unaware of his cancer battle. He is survived by his wife and kids and i wish them my sincere condolences through this hard time. I hope for the Ford guys that the brand continues on. RIP Mike.

Thats my group page on Facebook, Hot Inline Sixes and Vintage, have a few guys here who are members, i had the Mike post pinned as the top one for about 10 days. Feel free to jump on the post and comment if your a FB user, Mike touched many and while i corresponded a bit with him, never got to know him, the people all seem to agree, he was a genuine and well liked person who has left his mark. If you could say that for most people in life the human race would be better off for it. You left your mark and people are genuinely sad you have passed. The 29th of March last year was a hard time on my family, was my 21st wedding anniversary on the 27th March, my wife Dad had a massive stroke 2.30 AM that morning. He passed away on the 29th March, so was the 1 year anniversary this year. At the same time he had his stroke my Mum was in hospital palliative care for her lung cancer, she died in May last year. This time this year, i got my 2V head conversion done and drove it on the 28th March. Then read of Mikes passing that evening.
