Adding another distributor to identify. I got this distributor in a box of go fast parts at an estate sale. There is no markings on it. Can you identify it. Thanks

Got this motor of Facebook. It’s missing the distributor cap. I don’t know what distributor this is . It has 2 vacuum lines. My the stock cap I have won’t fit.
The motor is a 200 block with a 250 head that a guy took out of a 66 mustang he bought a year ago. He knows nothing about the motor.

Just a standard points distributor for a 65-66 mustang.
All parts stores carry them.

You are probably trying to install a Load-O-Matic cap on a later distributor; they are different.
Look for a distributor cap for a 67 200 or 69 250.

There were 65-66 Load-O-Matic distributors with a double vacuum diaphragm? I wasn't aware of that. Also the 6-cyl distributor caps are the same whether they are for the Load-O-Matic or the later dual advance points distributors. The DuraSpark caps are not interchangeable with the earlier ones.

That's not a Load O Matic. I think the dual vacuum and "skinny" rotor indicates a 68 or later unit... or maybe an earlier Thermactor?

I never seen a distributor like this before and when I searched I only found them for 260 and 289. If it’s a good distributor I will keep it but if not I will be getting a HEI to put in there.

If you use it, put your vacuum advance from the carb to the outer port, and leave the inner one open. don't cap it. If you want to keep dirt out, loop the hose over the side of the inner port, a few inches long.

Added another distributor to the mystery list. It’s a billet electronic setup. The cap is held on by rotating lugs not screws. It has 4 wires coming out of it but the plug harness only has 3

I did find a number W0422 on the main body so I searched with that and it came up as a speedway distributor for a 289 but the one I have is for a 6 and the cap mounts different to the speedway distributor. This looks like the Holley version but with an extra white for the tach

The lug-locks would suggest a GM application, and the Chevy 6 rotates clockwise as well.
