Just got the mustang out of the shop....

Holly Weber Carb
Pacemaker Header Dual
250 Head from a 77 Maverick-Ported Polished, Milled 60", 3 Angle Valve Job, Stainless Steel Valves, the works and of course a port divider welded in, Duraspark II Igniton and Module, 264H Cam from FSPP, Adustable Rockers, New lifters and Pushrods.....

Let me know what your thoughts are....Also, Had her out on the road yesterday for a spin. At 4100 RPM's I was doing 105. What do think she will top end at?

They are progessive pro 35 4-lug wheels. I had to put an adapter on them. They came of a 86 Mustang GT

Greatl car, thanks for the look. Can you provide a few details to find possible top end. Size of rear tire, rear gear, and top rpm?

Rear End is 2.83

RPM Top, not for sure I'm guessing around 4700 or so

Tire size is 205x75x15

Bowling and Grippo says 134 mph at 4700 if you got the horses.
It also says you were doing 117 @4100 rpm with the 2.83/27.1 inch tires and a 1 to 1 final ratio in the c4, does it lockup?

mraley, looks slick. Very nice detail work.
How does the 264 cam idle, & what centerline did you purchase.
With what you have in the engine i'm sure the power is vastly improved over what you had before. Let us know? william

Idle is a little rough at the moment. I'm having to get a larger jet from Stovebolt. Tom told me that the cam was affecting the vacuum, therefore limiting the amount of fuel i get at idle. If I bump the idle to about 800 or so there is just enough lope to know its there. Mike at FSPP suggested a 110 center. I think that's what we went with.

Looks great. Chrome yellow is my favorite color, but I have never liked it on the early classic mustangs. But with the black vinyl top, the Le Mans stripes, and your choice of wheels, it looks awesome. Great job. I love it.

Can you e-mail me some uncropped pics so I can add them to the FSPP gallery. Thanks.

Mraley,

Damn Sweet! You did a nice job on the engine bay, looks AWSOME!!

Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm really proud of how the car turned out. I couldn't have done it without your posts and especially MIke at FSPP!!!!My next step is to update the rear end. Any thoughts? I've got the original 2.83
