VERY possible. You will have to compare to a "regular" Holley jet to be sure..
Also, a drill index numbered from 60-40 or so will be helpful for comparing sizes.

Removed number "299" main jet....looked surprisingly similar to a regular Holley jet (holley 1946 carb, makes sense??)

Joy-O-Joy, it is the same size as a regular Holley jet!
A #52 drill bit fits the "299" jet perfectly, as does a regular number 64 Holley jet. I selected a #71 jet to replace the stock "299" jet. We'll see how that does.

what would be a good starting point... i use my car everyday to work and stuff, so i dont have much free time (1 half day off a week), ballpark would be great.

stock maverick 200, c4 auto, stock rear end in a 62 falcon.

I'm thinking a good starting point would be to try it as it is, first

There is info in the Holley/Webber sticky about ordering jets from a guy that goes by ALFA1750 on eBay from Italy, cheap.
