Howdy Dan:

I like to use Champion RF14YC in the heat of the summer on my modified 250. I gap them at .045" with my DSII ignition system.

They seem to be a little too cold for clean, Idaho winter use, even with my electric choke, Autolite 2 barrel.

Adios, David

down here in New Zealand we list champion F11YC or RF11YC (resistor)as the stock plug for the 200 falcons .lower numbers are colder ,not to be confused with NGK which work the orther way.if you want colder try a RF10YC .what plugs are you running at the moment.

cheers dave

The early small block Ford plugs are colder than the six plugs. BSF42C (V-eight) versus BSF82C (L6) in Motorcraft. They go right in.

Thanks for the info guys! I am running NGK UR4s now. Thoes are the only NGKs I could find for the six.
