Need Fuel Pump and other Help

: As noted in earlier post, I'm just starting to gather parts to do the Offy 3 1bbl conversion with a low to midrange cam like a 264. It's going to be 9-12 monts before I can afford to get all the parts togather. and have the head and cam work done. In the mean time, Friday my fuel pump went on the fritz. I've got the car up on stands with all the fuel drained. I would imagine I will need an electric pump to run the Webers when I can get them. Is there an electric pump that I can install now and use my single Autolite 1100, and later use to push the three Webers and save on the duplicate of work and expenses. Also if there is a general guide to what all needs to be purchased and done to the 200 from start to finish on the triple conversion. I printed up the pictures that were posted on the manifold installation. I've picked bits and pieces of info, but have not been able to put a picture togather of all that needs to be done. I already have the add on manifold for the 65/ 66 200 cid head. Is there a better or latter head I could accuire and have all of the head work done ahead of actual engine pull down. I probably need something like a "Dummies Guide to....." I want to accuire all the parts and have them in place and a machine shop in mind before I take a good running engine down for mods. Then why not put a new mechanical fuel pump back on now and drive it. You can get one on ebay for $10 and put it on in 15-30min. I didn't need to drain my tank or anything.

Thanks, thought about doing that, but it's time to change out the rubber lines from the tank to the fuel line, and from the fuel line to the pump anyway. The cliamate here is not kind to rubber hoses, and it's just a chance to get a little of it done now and learn a little as I go.

Keep in mind that Webers only need 2-3 psi fuel pressure. I think you'll find that the stock pump will provide adequate pressure and volume for your engine.

Fit a reliable pressure gauge under there, at the very least. One more area for speculation replaced by hard numbers...

Thanks for the advice. Will stick with the mechanical pump for the time being. Still would appreciate any help on the other parts needed.

I have a brand new, never used mechanical pump I bought from NAPA. (It is Federal Mogul, made in USA. I really don't trust the chinese junk from autozone or advance)

I bought it as a spare, but since I have changed out my entire fuel system it is up for sale. Make me an offer, It was $22.

ALSO, I have somewhere a Purolator fuel pressure regulator with the "dial a pressure" top on it. I think it goes down as low as 2-3 psi IIRC.
