i am trying to take the head off of my 1992 chevy cavalier yea i know a chevy but anyways the last head bolt is a stud and it was stripped out so i tried everything to get it out grinder, chisel, drill, anything and everything. i really need to get it off this weekend

any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated

if you hadn't tried all of those things already, i would say to put in the rest of the headbolts, then tighten them down and try to break that one loose

if you don't, sometimes it won't let go

when you were drilling it, how did you go about doing it?
i learned the hard way that the easiest way to do it was to start with a very small drill bit, drill down however far you need, then go up a size or two and go down as far as you need, then continue doing that until you've drilled out the threads, or drilled the head off the bolt

other than that, i don't know what to tell ya

i am at work right now so i cant try anything but a couple other people told me to try exactly what you said, my father and uncle are working on it currently so we will see wht happens

damn fwd
