Need help with hp

Does anyone out there know how I can get a few more hp without doing much tear down.I have a 200 6cyl in a 65 mustang that has zero power.
I just came back from a classic motor cruise and I am having trouble just to keep it at 55 mph on the hills on the interstate.The carb has a new kit.
The car runs find--good idle--not missing-- just no power.

Get a copy of The Ford Six Performance Handbook, lot of great info. The best thing you can do is swap to DuraSpark ignition system from 78 or later ford six. Set the timeing to 10 degress, gap the spark plugs to .045.
Swap the carb for a YF Carter. A header and exhaust port divider and a good 2" dual exhaust. This well get you around 1oo hp at the rear wheels Russell
