Need some Carb help!!

This 2brl is totally diff. than my 1brl...

What goes on these two openings, there nothing like it on the 1brl

Is this brass fitting on the bottom the line that goes to the distributor?

And how is the best way to use this cable? It looks to long.

Looks like thats a water heated choke so you would run your heater hoses through that housing. Depending on your taste you should easily be able to convert it to manual or electric choke if you want to just by changing the outer portion of that housing.

Fittings that low on carbs tend to be manifold vac ports that can be used for many things including dizzys. If you can see where it comes out on the other side you can figure it out. If its above the throttle blades its ported which means its only on when the throttle is open, if its below it manifold and always on. Ported vac is used on the dizzys from the factory and emissions related stuff like egr, and canister type of things.

Electric shouldnt be hard either. The heaters tended to come in standard sizes so you just have to find the one that fits. They were used on most carbed cars from the mid 70's and up. I think ford used a power from a special terminal on the alternator to run them. I dont know the carbs of that vintage that well so this is only a guess:
