where is the fast idle screw on an autolite 1100?
my new carb is suck on fast idle

please help so I dont drive 1000 miles an hour, trying to ride the brake all the way home
There should be three screw adjustments on your 1100 (choke fast idle, idle mixture, and idle speed). If you look closely, you'll see that one, and only one, of them actually contacts the accelerator linkage near the base of the carb. This is the one you want to back out to lower your idle speed.

on my carb, The idle mixture screw was at the base of the carb passanger side left of the bolt. cant miss it. its a hex key. Yours may be somewhere around there. not sure. my carb is a piece
