NEW Exhaust Products

I am in for a set of 250 headers. I need two set; but, only one at a time. I still waiting on my Obama package.

These exhausts looks very good  ... I plan to install a single one (2.25') on my 69 mustang coupe with a 250ci... But I've got a few questions :
- In France, where I am from, we've restrictive laws about exhaust noise... On many tracks it is limited to 93-95 Db, mesured 1 meter off the exhaust end... Does anyone know the value for the single outlet exhaust (header and 274-264 112° cam) impostor and arvinode, steel or stainless ?
- For the arvinode (I love the sound in the you tube video), will I have to drill new holes under the car to hold the exhaust system or the original hangers are good ?
- And last, when will these exhaust be available (single steel or stainless in 2.25') and if I order one, what will be the time shipment to an US address ?
Thanks
Fabien

Will the x pipe and dual mid pipe fit a coupe with the tcp subframe connectors?
That's a good question, unfortunately I don't have an answer. I never thought about sub-frame connectors. I guess we'll have to wait until someone tries it before we know the answer.

We test fit a set of headers on a 250ci and guess what, they will work, providing I change the shape of the lower extension pipes. But that's easy..... I'll try to post pics later tonight.

That's good news! My flexplate, engine block plate, tv cable, etc. just arrived for my 250/AOD swap. Now headers are in the works... so far so good! All I have to do is figure out TV to carb and crossmember. Good deal!

That is good news...but, a 250 in which vehicle?

Its been a long wait but getting close, I ordered mine set in August. Mike said that they will be worth the wait.

When these fit the 250 and if you think they will fit a 200 in a Bronco then I am in for a set. Thanks for the awesome products.

The 200/250ci headers will fit any application, as they can be easily modified if a clearance issue occurs. However, if I design the lower pipes properly, no modifications should be needed.

I also found out that we are going to be mentioned in an upcoming article in Mustang Enthusiast. They are doing a feature article on the resurrection of the Arvinrode Exhaust System, which will include the following sidebar.

Sidebar: New Waldron’s Arvinode Products for Inline Sixes.

Waldron’s Antique Exhaust is working with Classic Inlines and one of their customers, Doug Leach, to create a variety of "Arvinode" dual exhaust systems for inline, six cylinder Mustangs and Falcons. The kits are designed to fit with Classic Inline's dual outlet headers and can be purchased with custom X pipes for these vehicles. There is even a single exhaust version available. Leach tested the system during the 2009 racing season and with the full Arvinode system, has seen ¼ mile times of 14.33 seconds with a 60ft time of 2.06. Running the front half of the system (X pipe and intermediates) with Flowmaster 40 mufflers and no tailpipes earned a 14.11/1.96. The kits are available directly from Classic Inlines (http://www.classicinlines.com)

The SS headers should be here sometime next week. The manufacturer promised to get them done in three to four weeks, but it took nearly three months..... I think a lot of it has to do with the current economy. Even tho companies are cutting back on help, they'll tell you anything to get the order. Personally I'd rather have them tell me up front, so it doesn't make me look like a smuck.... If there's anything about this business that I don't like, its working with some of the suppliers. Most are pretty good, but some are impossible to deal with. The worse case scenario is working with a new supplier, as you have no idea how they are going to perform..... and in most cases there's nothing you can do about it. Especially if they are the only company willing to produce the product... and know it. I can threaten all I want, but it makes no difference. All I can do is sit back, wait, and take my lumps. Fortunately most of my customers are very patient, and seem to understand what I'm going through. But there are always those who don't. :)

Mike thanks for supplying quality products for us Falcon Owners. I had a chance to meet you at the Ford Nationals at Woodburn OR. a few years ago. Looking forward to getting the headers. Part of the process.

I got mine 2 days ago. Took them out of the box and said WOW! These look great. I got mine silver coated and the finish is 'Superb' - definately a home run on these. I'll post how they fit after installation.

Has there been any feedback regarding ease/difficulty installing the new Classic Inlines exhaust system? I just received my new set and need to install it over the Memorial Day weekend. It's the dual OEM Modified set. I'm running the Classic Inlines dual-out header, but it's not the one with detached head pipes. Mine looks just like the ones pictured in this thread, but my head pipes are already welded. In anyone's opinion, will there be an issue connecting the x-pipe?

Thanks!
