that three carb set up is it still descent on gas whats the pros and cons? and very nice car was it in descent shape when you got it or did you completly restore it yourself??? :wow:
 
hello i can't tell you yet de pro's and cons,because i haven'd driven the car yet,i do not know it is decent on gas,i am
gonna see this soon,i can tell you de middle carb is doing de mainwork.the pro's i want an yecatcher.and its fun to build
something like this.i have bought the car in 1993 in good shape and still it is,and yes i restore mosthly self the things what
i can do. i am gonna show photo's back to the start of my project,,stay focus if you like it.

she is ready for drive at 2 weeks i think,,,,,,,





all the paintwork is done by the friend of my youngest daughter.(including the airbrush under the hood)

Very nice car, and nice work (and your garage is like... wow). Engine bays do not get that clean on their own. Is that the Classic Inlines valve cover? I need!
 
yes that's the classic inlines valvecover,,but i have the valvecover
clearcoated,i like the grey color.

i got time now,,,so here are more photo's,i hope its not boaring.
these things i have done by myself,the cleaning,made new parts,
the welding and so on.I have made also new motermounts you can
see those on the photo's back in this topic.

the differend intakes for a triple carb. set up.
(i got both)

this is what you need for a 6cyl.after '68.

this is what you need for a 6cyl.before '68.


the differend is the log before '68 is a round log and after '68 is a flat log.

the reason is that i have build up a '70 six inline i could'nt find an '68 intake but now i have one,
so when the time is right i am gonna build my '68 inline six like the '70 triple carb.so i can use my matching
moter.

a picture of my clearence problem under the hood,i have chance my
motermounts,but also the airintake,,,,,,

whatch the different between the outher carbs. and the middle one,
the mid one is the old situation,outside the new situation.

i'm picking up a 200 for my new falcon project next week. i haven't decided on what i want to do for a carb. After seeing this thread i've now decided to do the tri-carb set up. Your Mustang is beautiful ! i love the photos, keep posting them !
