Nice flatty six

Went to a car show in portland, Or. Wednesday and saw a sweet '29 p-u w/a nicely done flat six. 2 - 1bbls. and a very well done homemade split exhaust.

It's not a Ford engine. I'm going to guess that is a Mopar engine from the looks of it, probably Chrysler, Desoto, or truck. Those carburetors are Rochester one barrels, probably from a chevy. Clean installation, but I would do something with the sparkplug wires. Thanks for posting the photos.
 
I would have thought an Offy four would have similar effect in a Locost.

The six looks like the ones my mates has sitting in 3' high piles of rust that were Fargo utes.

There is a Hudson advertised in the local paper, supposedly it runs. Just imagine what THAT would look like 8)
