I have a 170ci Inline 6 in a 65 Ford Falcon. So I checked the fuel pump changed both fuel filters checked the fuel line and the carb, Everything seems to be working fine but I have no fuel coming to the carb. Anyone have an Idea? Also is there a filter on the fuel pump, it looks like it could screw off.

If the vehicle has sat for a while the float and/or needle and seat may have stuck. it could be as simples tapping on the top of the carb with a piece of
wood. Try this: Take a piece of rubber hose put it in a gas can with some gas in it. if it works, then there must be a hole letting the pump draw air instead of fuel out of your tank.

What do I do with the hose after I put it in the gas can?

Whoops! He assumed you knew the other end of that hose is temporarily connected to the fuel pump inlet. You'll be drawing fuel from the can, not the tank.

Oh that make a lot of sense, I will try that. It seems to to be working a lot better now. I changed the fuel line from the pump to the carb and the fuel filter. Thanks for the help
