I have a tripower on my wagon's 292 Y-block. It has 3 94's, though I'm only running one. Researching the 94 resulted in finding out they only use about 1 to 2psi. No more than 2. They will commence to have a number of problems one would expect with too much pressure.
I run mine at approximately 1 1/4psi. Runs great, but I may try to go lower. I think it is still fat, haven't pulled a plug yet though. I'll go as low as it will stand.
I know it sounds low but you have to remember where and when these old carburetors were used. Long time ago on very basic, very old tech engines.
Got my information from a number of sources on the HAMB. The reliable ones, not from the come-lately types that have nearly taken the place over and largely made it a waste of time now. But there is still a wealth of information to be searched.
