Well got the wagon running real good with the small 2 bbl so decided it was time to install the 2 Weber outboard carbs. Got the linkage worked out where it has an adjustment screw for the progressive setup by useing the automatic kickdown rod arm on the carb to mount linkage to the rest of the set-up. Took it for a spin and there is still a small glich in the throttle cable and it was sticky, as I'm going down the street doing about 10mph in first i kicked it down a little fast cause of this sticky spot in the throttle and it smoked the back tire like it was a 351. At 20-25 mph in second, tire smoke is just a pedal push away. Going down the road it will empty the top of the dask by just kicking the gas without downshifting in high at 50-70. Car will hit 80mph like it was 40.
Biggest problem so far is getting the throttle linkage/cable to where I am happy with it. Time to get serious about the T-5 swap as i don't believe the 277 3speed will hold up long behind this tiny beast.
Will get some under hood pics later today as i had to drive my truck to work today.

yep 4 in a row on a sixer and with the dual port runners on the webers thats a pretty even fuel distribution. This is what it looked like before install.

Well this is what it looks like installed unfortunitly i don't have a wrench to take the Holley air cleaner off with me today (wow neat to not have to carry a box of tools out of paranoia) so that the linkage can be seen but it is basically a rod that runs the length of the log mounted to the header bolts with an arm in the center that has a rod to the 2bbl which turns the large pivot rod which activates the outboardcarbs-- by useing a little basic geometry the webers can open in the last 1/4 of the 2 bbl's throttle and achive WOT at the same time as the 2 bbl.

Those have been around quite awhile now. I'm not too sure but,I think Edlebrock makes them. If you have access to a 'Summit' catalouge,you'll seem them in there . OO6.

I see holes cut in the hood. I'd like to see a pic of the hood closed too. Are you going to do a scoop or just leave it with the holes?

-The low profile air cleaner is a Holley"-hi-tech-" listed in Summit for around $225 I got that one from a parts store for $75 cause it had a couple flaws in it. It fits under the hood with no clearence problems even with the double Clifford adapter set up.
-Yes there are currently 2 holes in the hood for the weber stacks. looks kind of cool with the 2 sticking up through but i have other plans for the final product- have gotten the material but havn't fabbed it yet, then the plan (at this point) is to put a narrow fairly low profile scoop on one side of the hood to cover. Currently working on a low budget fuel rail and air cleaner plumbing set up. Hope to have it done over the weekend. Parts are all from the plumbing department at Lowes.
-After putting a couple hours into the POS Summit universal cable throttle pedal unit driveability has become excellant. Sound from the Petronix side pipes is very nice, not real loud but very authoritative.

The EMPI VW hop up kit works very well but does require a good bit of cutting and a fair amount of imagiation to make it fit the 200.[/img]
The 2 bbl that is in the center is of unknown origin but would be a great 2 bbl for early year 6's as it has the proper porting for the early dizzy's.
Now wished i had mounted it 180* around and put the float over the pass side as that would have made the idle air screws a lot easier to access.
