Umm you have a cable throttle and the offy are designed for the old style mustang/falcon rod system.
I have looked at this and haven't yet seen a solution for use with a cable throttle, but I 'm sure it could be done. But you might be the first if you do.

Simple solution is to set up the Offy linkage with the center carb and progressive outers all working as Offy intended - then simply hook up the throttle control of your choice to center carb...

If you use a Maverick cable with the Maverick carb as center, the Maverick cable setup doesn't care that the outers are hooked to the center.... I'm using a '71 Maverick over-VC bracket and pedal setup. The original Mav' cable snapped and now use a box-store (Mr.Gasket?) universal cable which is much stronger. You still have to play a little with gas pedal setup no matter what cable you go with. I've used the Mav' cable with all kinds of carbs as center.

You don't need chokes on the outer carbs. In the picture above it worked out great, but the Autolite 1100 autochokes get in the way. Holley 1904 need the chokes because they're part of the diffusion pin/venturi. Webers have a perfect carb - model with choke and one without. Only need choke on center carb with a progressive linkage. Think of the outer carbs as secondaries on a four barrel. The outer carbs do need the butterfly/idle plate to seal real well at idle or they're basically two vacuum leaks. You can crack open the idle circuits to compensate.

you are right jahearne,i have taken out all the choke's
all 3,i am using the mustang only in summer, when it is
not good enough i replace the middle one.
