Anyone here done this b4 i need to know how to go about it, i know you have to grind bits of the block so the rods dont fowl up agaisnt the block anyone know the specs

Are you planning on runing 265 or 245 rods? I imagine 245 rods arent long enough. I've already asked this question in the turbo forum and was quickly put in my box buy the price of pistons to suit the hemi rod in a crossflow bore, $1000-1500 (they have to be custom made apparently) The hemi rodo has a diferent size big end that has to be taken into account. I've been convirted to the chev forged TRW rods with a 56 thou over bore and aftermarket standard bore size chev 305 forgies. THANKS XECUTE :D

I'd check more for rod to cam clearance on a 250. It gets pretty tight! Ever pulled the timing chain off a 250 and then tried to turn it over?
