Offy with vacuum leak

Two steps forward and one step back. I finally got the linkage done and the car started, but I have a vacuum leak betweem the offy and the log. Has anyone run into this, any ideas on causes and cures? I'm almost finished but I can't properly break in the rebuilt engine until I can idle. The rebuilt engine sounds awsome throught open headers.

what i used insted o

I used some epoxy to seal the manifold from inside where the outer carb holes line up with the cut holes in the manifold. Seemed to fix it.

I carefully shaped the top of the log with a hand held belt sander until it matched the curve on the bottom of the offy adapter- the only way to get even compression of that o-ring.
