Often talked about, rarely done. Water injection

I had no response in the aussie thread so i thought id post again hardcore.

I currently have four aussie crossflows engines and are rebuilding one street friendly 200plus hp engine.

I have a progessive 500 2barrel holley on a stock majorly ported weber manifold and im seriously looking into raising the compression (12-13:1) and running water/alcohol port injection. Cam will be around 215@0.50''.

Are there any specific cam spec thsi sytem will like as i know LPG and NOS cams are slightly different for max gains??

Im going to get the lower efi intake and somehow weld or bolt these together. Any idea on the best way?

I hope to use the fuel rail with a high pressure water pump and atomizing nozzles with individual filters (www.rbracing-rsr.com). I believe these are meant to flow 10% of fuel flow, from memory when i worked it out will be 20-25cc each @ 40psi.

Still lots to work out.

Any suggestions?

So has anyone tried port water injection with 13:1 compression?

Those links seem to be manifold vacuum water injection mostly for improved mpg.

We have a new SHELL 100RON fuel in Aust. Should be good for my setup.
