Can someone identify the oil and temperature sending unit locations on my 59 223cid? I am pretty sure the temperature location is the plug at the very rear of the cylinder head on the passenger side but I am unsure of the oil pressure location.

Thanks,
-Kevin

On my 54 they both are the passenger side of engine. Temp sender (I.P. type threads) goes in boss on side rear of head, oil pressure sender goes just above the starter is also (I.P. type threads)

Here is a labeled pic of a 215. I think the 223 is very similar.

My 1958 F-100 223 is the same as Chuck's. You can also pick up oil pressure at the pipe plug in the block above the oil filter. I use both. The original for the dash light and the one above the filter for a gauge.
