I have a 65 mustang 170 6 cyl with the oil light in dash. Is there a fitting I can install at the sending unit to were I can use both gauges or mount some were else towards the front of motor so I can see what lbs it is?
Remove the oil pressure sending unit, install a short pipe nipple (long enough for the original sending unit to clear the block) with a "T" on the end and install the original sending unit on one side and the plumbing for a oil press gauge in the other, both work

I wonder if the one from my bronk would fit yer dash (same engine anyway)? It has lines w/# of lbs pressure, U could switch from 1 to the other if willing to give up the "idiot light".
