I have a 66 mustang with 200 I-6. It has the 3 speed auto tranny. Whenever i drive down the highway, around 75 or so, the engine will blow out a little oil from the dipstick hole. It only does this at high speeds. I am thinking that the high rpms on the motor are causing this. Do any of you know exactly what is going on? :?

It is called blow by. There is more air blowing past your pistons than the pcv valve can suck up. Note! That is a bunch! Drive her very easy until you can do something about it. Maybee check your pcv valve and oil cap filter and get lucky. Everybody gets lucky now and then.

Budlight is correct. It sounds like there could be a few sources. Check your PCV valve and make sure it is working properly. If the problem isn't the PCV valve then it will most likely be that you need new piston rings. Drive her easy till you figure out the problem.

I think it might be a loose dipstick and/or oil pan seal...I had same problem and it def wasnt rings...

dont scare him just cause he has a little oil on the side of his block

try some sealer around dipstick tube
