Oil leaks from chrome valve covers

There was a post several weeks ago on this topic. since then the fix is to glue the rubber or cork gasket to the valve cover, purchase valve cover clamps made by mr. gasket company part #9899. these tee shaped clamps are also chrome plated. just put the valve cover bolt through these clamps & 90% of the time the oil leak is fixed.
They are similiar to the tabs used on small block chevys with steel valve covers. hope this helps. later william :idea:

BTW, I did something similar, I glued the gasket (cork) to the head and the used RTV silicone on the head side. But instead of those tabs I used these...

Alex, the mr. gasket #3681 looks better than mine. just goes to show you there is always a better mouse trap. thanks william :D
