Howdy all.
I was in the process of swapping a Mustang oil pan onto my 170 today.
The old worn out 200 which was the source of the Mustang pan had the standard 20 small bolts and the 4 larger ones on the ends.
The 170 had a Bronco pan on it with the same screws, but the larger end screws were also holding these extra semi-circular brackets around the crank shaft flanges at either end.
They do not seem to be needed on the Mustang pan, and it didnt have any on it to begin with.
Should I just toss them away with the old Bronco pan that I am not using anymore?
