Oil pan gasket

hey

I need to change my oil pan gasket out.. I went to napa bought the gasket however looking at my motor i think i may have to change the oil ring thingy too.. When changing the pan gasket can u change the gasket without changing the ring things. Im not sure what these are called but they are the O-ring that surrounds the crank so that oil does not leak. Thanks a bunch guys

If they're not leaking don't fool with them. I changed my pan seal without any other seals and got it tight. It took a lot of Forma-gasket or Gaskeseal, especially where the rubber seal with the little index tongue meets the cork, but immenently do-able. Just put extra pooky where the rubber meet the cork.
