Hi All;
I was wondering if the 250 CID engine had a high performance oil pump drive shaft available? I need a good reliable one to put into the engin in my Fokker DVII WWI fighter.
Thanks ahead of time :D

not to my knowledge.

All that is readily available are regular shafts, I´d take one from a reputable manufacturer and (especially on an aeroplane application) have it checked thoroughly.
Should a car´s oil pump drive fail, we can still pull over; but on a plane... well, lets not go there.

At least, our shafts are fare more beefy than the "pencils" that turn the pumps on smallblock V8s!

Troy,

I got my oil pump and shaft from NAPA last year, the number was CLEVITE 601-1019P82. Hope that helps
