we just had this disucssion a couple days ago the thread should still be high on the list.
i can't remember either. the shop manual alludes to one without actually showing it. the napa oil pump i got did not come with one, it only came with a gasket between the pickup and the pump. i just bought some paper gasket material from napa, i used the same thickness as the pickup gasket (which was pretty thin), and made my own. people have said you can do without one just make sure the oil pressure is good. the material only cost like 5 buck or something.
