I'm planing on a low windage baffeled engine, maybe even a crank scraper, and was wondering how hard it would be to drill into an oil gallery in the bottom end and install a pipeline with nozzles to squirt oil up under the bottom of the pistons similar to modern engines as there will be no splash from the crank? Obviously the holes will have to be small enough to try to minimise the oil preasure drop. The ford 2.0L OHC 4 cyl from escorts and cortinas used a similar style rail to squirt the camshaft and rockers and didnt loose too much preasure.
Any ideas as to where there is a suitable gallery to drill into and what size hole for the nozzles?
