Alright lets try this.

Looks a little small. Converting Linc's figure of 26 lbs/min of airflow to CFM @ 112*, we get 370 CFM when the air temp is 112*.

Map this to the chart, and it's off of the main efficiency island, actually on the 66% one or so on the whole airflow range. This will heat up the air plenty. This isn't good. These originally came on 2 liter engines so the mismatch is expected....I'd probably look for something a bit bigger. It's not too bad though...since the 200 makes good torque already, it could work. hasa68mustang doesn't have much more, and his works pretty well.

Another plus, you would start making boost very early in the rev range. If the price is right, I would consider it.

It's on ebay and the price might be right. Currently since I don't plan on reving very high I just want bottom end I though it might be a fun experiment and my first dabble into turbos.

I'd go for it then...just remember that there isn't much upgradeability here. The turbine housing is different than a T4/T04. But if you're going this far, it wouldn't be much trouble to change the mounting flange.

I'm looking for a Holden HX35 or HX40 off of a Dodge Cummins myself. They are pretty common and more of a match for the 200.

Mines off a 2.2l and it has low end. and doesnt pull much up top which would be pretty good for a street motor but there would be more efficient options out there, but for the 100 dollars I payed for my complete turbo kit for a probe I coudlnt pass it up, especially when it was the shipped price, and I just hacked away at my stock manifold to make one for the turbo so, I bought a BOV for 35 and the carb hat for 60 and thats ALL I have in the entire turbo setup... for the gains you cant beat it, I took 2.5 seconds off the 1/4 mile w/o traction and bogging like none other, I paid 350 for the header and it didnt even make a noticable gain... :x
