oversized valves for the 250-2v?

just curious, what valved do you guys in OZ use for oversized when you update a 250-2v head? it seems to me that it is alot of work to convert the head to a different stem size, etc. just to use US valves. input please.

These are the part #'s for replacement valves to suit the 2V. These are taken from the Precision International Catalogue, but most suppliers use the same codes.
Inlet
IN1883 Head 1.654 x length 4.262 x stem 0.344
IN6883 Head 1.732 x length 4.276 x stem 0.344
Exhaust
EX1884 Head 1.388 x length 4.262 x stem 0.344
EX6884 Head 1.476 x length 4.291 x stem 0.344
EX2138 Head 1.484 x length 4.272 x stem 0.344

You can also get all of these valves in .005 oversize stems

They sure are.
They cost around $16 aussie bucks ea and are available from most parts suppliers in OZ. I imagine you could get them through Precision International or similar in the US. If not check out a few online aussie parts stores such as Gimme Auto.... in fact check your PM's for a good contact.
