I just got my oz head back from the machine shop. I am planning to add port divider tomorrow. I looked at the 3 and 4 cylinders on the head where the port divider will go. In the middle of this area is a coil of some sort. I do not know what this is  I am assuming a temp gauge of some sort? My question is, 1) what is the coil? 2) the port divider will not fit in w/ that coil installed. What should I do? Not sure if I should cut it out to add divider or pass on divider and leave coil? Any and all info and help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help, Mark

Addo, thanks. Should I just take that part out and add the port divider?

If you don't plan on using it, then it can go. A lot of the people who fit dividers seem to use the two "feed holes" above it for pinning it with allen-head set screws or brazing rod. Drill the tubing and it will fall out.
