PACEMAKER VS HURRICANE HEADERS

Has any one out there noticed the difference in quality and workmanship between Pacemaker and hurricane headers .
I am in the process of changing my headers on the 250 .When i purchased
the hurricanes a year or so ago i had to use a dremel on all the header ports to remove the overhang of the tube on the inside, and one port was
way off centre, and i had to grind a peice of bolt boss of the block as they touch the side of the block.Apart from this i went ahead and fitted them only to have all the coating come off in about a week and start to surface rust.I just got my hands on the pacemakers and they are an awesome finsh with all the ports smoothed out ,heaps better bends exiting the head especially number 6 .I dont really like rubbishing product ive sold before ,but ive sold both brands before and id have to say if Pacemaker were even a hundred bucks more id still pay the difference.I dont know how long the coating lasts on pacemaker but im about to find out.I havent had the engine on dyno so i cant say which flow the best ,but going just by sight the pacemaker look like the will flow better.
Just a heads up if your in the market for a new set of headers,if you can check them at the counter and make sure your happy with what your getting.
The only problem i have with both brands is the both use a multi fit flange to suit alloy or cast heads and they look a bit naff.

Hurricanes - well, you said it! If you just want cheap extractors, Redline are probably the best value. Pacemaker and the old Perry's are the best quality, locally.

i have genie and motorvators at the moment and there both no probs.my cousin bought a set of pacemakers 2 weeks ago and they look good.pacemakers have been around for a very long time and seem to have had a boost with there new design (pipe over cone)which looks very good and good marketing.they used to have a logo of a heart with pipes coming out of it.all extractors ive had have burnt off quickly,it will be interesting to see how long the pacemakers last.they seem to be the leaders at the moment and there product sure looks good.

pacemakers for sure.... Qualty all the way... no nasty looking dags or anything in the ports smooth bends good joins :>

i've got a set of pacemakers on my clevo. it's been almost 3 years since i fitted them and they still look like new
