After searching the forums for a couple days I've determined that I need the following parts to perform the turbo install on my 250...
TO4 Turbo - 57mm
350cfm carb
Mallory 4309 pressure regulator
Boost controller
B.O.V.
Wastegate
Intercooler/Aftercooler
Could someone elaborate on the B.O.V. and wastegate as far as sizes ? I also have a carb in the garage, Motorcraft 2bbl (D9DE-SA), does anyone know where I can find out the cfm's ? Also, should I eliminate the mechanical fuel pump and use something else ? I appreciate any info.
Thanks, Darrel

Im not much of a turbo guy but i do know that the Blow Out Valve dosent have to be any particular size. Any one will do. Motorcraft cfm ratings are judged by a number on the side of the carb.

1.08=287cfm
1.14=300cfm
1.21=351cfm

As for the fuel pump, I would go with an electrical fuel pump; since the stock mechanical one will give you a headache.

Darrel,
That list looks about right.
If you're going to use that Mallory Regulator then you'll need to use an electric fuel pump. We're using a Carter Inline EFI pump. Cost about $80.

I've determined that the carb I have is a Motorcraft 2150 with the 1.08 venturi (287 cfm). Will this be adequate or should I look for a different one ?
Thanks, Darrel

It's always better to under-carb then to over-carb.
If Linc's can make his 1-bbl work under boost then damn near any carb will work! However there will always be modifications to the carb that will need to be made.

Thanks Does10s,
I was checking out the mods to a 4bbl on another forum. I hope they apply to a 2bbl as well. Also, do you guys use the factory fan or do you use an electric blowing thru the intercooler and radiator ? Because if I can eliminate the factory fan and move my radiator in closer, I won't have to modify my hood latch/ grill bracket.
Thanks

We're using an electric "puller" fan. Pulling air from the outside, through the IC and radiator, then into the engine compartment.
Also due to the lack of space in a '63 Falcon, we're also using an inline elec. water pump.

Ya know Does10s, I'm looking at your setup closely because the Falcon and the Maverick have a very similar engine bay. In fact, the Maverick was designed on the Falcon chassis. I don't think I've seen an inline water pump. I'll have to do a search and check it out. Thanks again, for all your info, I'm sure newbies can be annoying over time.

There's a thread about one in the "small-block" forum here.
