I’m converting my 67 Mustang to a large log head, and I bought the carb base from vintage inlines with a bell crank and PCV threaded port to facilitate. But I can’t find what fitting I need for that PCV port. Does anyone else know?
Are you talking about the thread size? And or the the hose barb size?
You probably need 1/4 male npt with a 1/2 barb. I just bought a pac of them for some air hose repair. I can get a pic of the fitting if you need
So, it looks like the PVC port Thread on my carb base is 3/8 fine-ish (fine bolt is 24, NPT is 27), which is just wacky. That makes it a 1/8"NPT with 1/2" barb. Luckily Amazon has everything.
I used an airline fitting for mine originally and plumed my PVC to the threaded hole in the log, just below the carb. It’s 1/4” NPT (plumbing threads). Then I decided to run my vacuum advance directly off manifold vacuum and got myself a splitter but those come in 3/8” NPT so I got an adapter for it. All works well thanks to Amazon.
When I do my large log I’ll do something similar but I might move the vacuum advance directly off the carb spacer.
