Power of 2V engine

hi guys,

first time post and i know you there is alot of 2V questions but i am excitied as i have just purchased a head. My questions are - is there any difference between a original 2V engine and one with just the 2V head? before putting the head on what are some of the first mods i should do to both head and engine to gain the most out of the motor for around a grand? how much work has to go into the engine to get it to 200hp? the head came with the original carb, is it worth changing it to a 500 holley/350 holley.

I believe the motors are identical below the head. Have not compared distributors but nor have I seen a separate set of specs for a 2V dizzy.

For your thou - does that include labour? If yes, then Rollmaster timing set, ACL front cover gasket/seal set, balancer speedy-sleeve, non-Chinese thermostat, valve stem seals, check your water pump, thermo housing, welsh plugs.

If there's no labour in that grand, all the above plus a Crow 63602 cam, springs and lifters to suit.

As a matter of interest what are you putting the 2V into?
 
yeah its an XR falcon. Picked it up today looks pretty good. can someone send me some pics or tell me where to find some of complete heads because i dont know much about them and want to know if it is missing anything.
