What Powermaster starter number fits a 67 200 high mount with a C-4 trans & with Hooker headers?

Small six has a lot of design features of the FE. Shaft rocker, cam retainer, and maybe starter.
Bill, let us know if It works.

Will a Powermaster 9606 fit in my 67 200 with a C-4 with Hooker headers???

Unless someone here has that exact setup, it will be difficult to know sure. Do you know if the 9606 will fit w/o the headers installed?? If it does the Powermaster is a good candidate, it is shorter than the MSD starter and the RobbMc ( 7 in from flange to end of starter ) as well as clockable.

Ford Gen II Mini-Starter – PN 3001, this matches my combo.

The cost is pricy. RobbMc products.

Bill check out powermaster 9106 at summit for 168$ I think that it is the same style and specs as the Robb Mc 3001
Please verify it will fit, before buying.

I would look at the other engine/tranny combs that are listed for that starter, then match those with the power master listing for a crossover. I think it would be safe to say not all manufacturers have a complete list of combos that a gives starter fits. Especially 6 cylinders

I will call Powermaster on the 9106 to make sure it has a 3/4" pinion depth.
I will also perform a count tooth on my C-4 converter ring gear.
The cost of the powermaster is a lot less cost vs the Robb Mc.

On fords, I do not think that tooth count matters much, but on some engines, it determines where the ring gear is offset back from the block face. What matters is hole size in block plate that seems to correlate to starter gear offset, gear offset and bell housing mounting bolt holes and their spacing.
